Design Engineer


A Leader in packaging Machine Design is looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer.
Job Description:
Create concepts and design new and improved field equipment to meet customers' needs. Improve performance of existing design. Evaluate and implement engineering change requests related to field equipment, create and maintain bills of material, provide technical assistance to our production plants and vendors.
Job Requirements :
REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum five (5) years machine design experience (pneumatic, hydraulic, and rotating).
Minimum five (5) years 3D CAD, Unigraphics (NX) Solid Modeling, AutoCAD, and Raster editing programs.
Solid knowledge of packaging industry adn related equipment.
Ability to work with individuals/groups both internally and externally.
Must have good interpersonal communication skills, both verbally and in technical writing skills.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Strong general computer skills.
Hands on experience with Product Data Management (PDM or PLM) software and MRPII.
PREFERRED:
Design in Mechanical Engineering specializing in machine design.
Additional electro-mechanical machine design experience.
Additional 3D CAD experience, Unigraphics (NX) Solid Modeling.
Must have good interpersonal communication skills, both verbally and in technical writing skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
